Remarking on why the meeting was organized, Futch states that “Since PFD was a major production issue in the spring of 2016, I felt it was important to reach out to other areas in the world and invite speakers (international and local) to participate in the seminar to share their experiences and methods for controlling PFD. Program speakers will include: Drs. Geraldo Silva and Franklin Behlau are from FundeCitrus in Araraquara, Sao Paulo, Brazil and Drs. Natalia Peres and Megan Dewdney with the University of Florida.”
