On March 5, 2020, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published an extensive list of disinfectant products that were approved by the agency to use against COVID-19.

The disinfectant list can be viewed here.

This list is updated on a regular basis and was created to help the public know what materials are effective in killing SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler was quoted in the press release about the list as saying, “Using the correct disinfectant is an important part of preventing and reducing the spread of illnesses along with other critical aspects such as hand washing.” The full press release from the EPA can be found here.

Chemical Containers, Inc. (CCI) designs and builds custom sanitation sprayer equipment to thoroughly disinfect commonly used items like shopping carts, baskets, and product crates for essential businesses like grocery stores and pharmacies.

While CCI does not sell disinfectant spray, the equipment is designed to offer efficient distribution of the liquids listed by the EPA as effective against SARS-CoV-2 and other hard to kill viruses.
